Student Peer Conduct Board

Applications for the 2026-2027 Peer Integrity Board are Now Open!

The Office of Student Integrity and Restorative Justice Practices (SIRJ) is looking for students dedicated to fostering a stronger campus community through an engaging and educational student integrity process. As a member of the Peer Integrity Board (PIB), you will serve as a student leader committed to promoting accountability and upholding Loyola University’s Jesuit values.

PIB functions as a conduct hearing body that meets regularly during the academic year, hearing one to three undergraduate student cases per week. Each board consists of three to five undergraduate students and one non-voting advisor (typically a Graduate Assistant). Members are trained to review cases and determine appropriate educational outcomes for students found responsible for violations impacting the campus community, such as:

  • Quiet hours violations
  • Roommate conflicts
  • Vandalism
  • Disruptive behaviors
  • Disorderly gatherings
  • Alcohol-related incidents

Board members hear cases, decide responsibility, and assign educational sanctions that encourage growth and accountability.

  • Attend and actively participate in all training sessions throughout the academic year.
  • Dress professionally for hearings.
  • Treat each student with respect and approach every case individually.
