Wellness, Health, and Student Services

At Loyola, higher education is as much physical, emotional, social, and spiritual as it is intellectual.

Your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being are crucial to your health and your success while you're in college—and far beyond.

The Loyola experience is designed to provide, support, and inspire all aspects of our students’ well-being and success—from departments to programs to physical spaces on campus that foster development and growth: mind, body, and spirit.

Club and Intramural Sports

Club and intramural sports are two of the largest activities on campus. For those with a competitive streak who aren’t quite ready to commit to the intense demands of a D-1 team, club sports are right up your alley. We have 26 club sports teams including swimming, ice hockey, sailing, rugby, lacrosse, baseball, and softball, to name just a few. All are run by students and compete at the local, regional, and national levels. Intramural sports are a great option for students looking for some friendly competition—whether you’re a seasoned soccer player looking to stay in shape or a softball first-timer. Loyola offers 12+ intramural individual and team sports.

Counseling Center

Meet like-minded people who also value physical wellness as part of their daily routine. (Students can also apply, train for, and then organize and lead outdoor expeditions, providing a meaningful leadership opportunity for those who want to take their experience further.)
