Loyola competes in the Patriot League, fielding teams in eight men's and ten women's sports. For talented athletes who want the intensity of D-I competition, they need look no further than Loyola. Our lacrosse teams are perennial powerhouses. And our basketball, soccer, golf, swimming and diving teams have been busy winning conference championships for years.
But our athletic success doesn’t come at the expense of academic achievement. Loyola has a 95 percent student-athlete graduation success rate, one of the best in the country among D-I programs. More than half of our student-athletes earn a 3.0 GPA or better. If you coach an athlete who takes as much pride in their grades as they do in their game, the Greyhounds are a great fit.
