Who is eligible to apply?

Potential participants will be sent a personalized email of invitation. The Ignatius Scholars Program provides opportunities to students with significant financial need and first-generation college students who may come from diverse backgrounds.

When is the deadline for applying? 

Applications are accepted from April through May 30, 2024.

What are the application criteria?

Students who are interested in this program must submit an online application, a personal essay describing their interest in the program as well as their academic and career goals.

Are commuter students accepted into this program?

Yes, commuter students are welcome.  ISP may provide housing for the summer residential component of the program.

Is there a brochure/flyer that can be printed?

All materials can be submitted on line via the website. If you do not have access, materials can be mailed to the following address:

When will my file be reviewed for admission to the program?

All applications will be reviewed by the selection committee. Letters of acceptance will be sent to participants in June.
