Thank you for your interest in the Ignatius Scholars Program!
The Ignatius Scholars Program (ISP) provides opportunities to students who identify as first-generation college students or demonstrate significant financial need, many of whom may come from diverse backgrounds. The program is designed for first-year students who exhibit strong academic promise, leadership abilities, and high professional aspirations.

Application Process
Interested students must first apply to be admitted to Loyola University Maryland, and secure their place as a member of the Class of 2028 by submitting their enrollment deposit by May 1.
After submitting their deposit, students should complete the ISP application by using their Applicant Status Portal login credentials.
Application Requirements

Notifications & Deadlines
All applications must be submitted by May 30, 2024.
Students will be notified of admission into the program via email by mid June.
