An interactive workshop to develop your knowledge of the Jesuit history and Loyola’s mission, vision and values that shape the work that we do, and how we do it. Manager's Retreat

The Manager's Retreat is designed to empower all managers to effectively lead, increase engagement, and build a cohesive and thriving workforce in support of the strategic plan. Manager's Retreat occurs in two parts: one full-day in person session and one half-day virtual session. Sponsored by Human Resources and presented in partnership with various departments.

Employee Assistance Program Trainings 

Acentra, Loyola's employee assistance program (EAP) provider, offers a robust catalog of training options, including On-Demand self-paced trainings. New topics are offered each semester.

Setting Healthy Boundaries

Facilitated by Acentra (Virtual session) 
This session will help participants identify various ways to achieve balance with personal, family, and work responsibilities. The conflicting demands of work and home can create stress that depletes the energy needed to get everything done. Participants will learn to implement techniques for being more effective and more satisfied with both their home and work lives.

New Hire Campus Tours

Activate your Loyola experience with a New Hire Campus tour! Whether you have worked at Loyola for a few days or several months, register to attend a tour hosted by Human Resources. Tours begin and end at the front entrance of the Humanities Building on the Evergreen Campus and last approx. 30-45 minutes.

LinkedIn Learning 

LinkedIn Learning is an online training system that provides video tutorials for thousands of technology subjects. You can complete an entire course, or just the parts you need. Once you create an account and log in, you will have access to video tutorials for a wide range of software programs including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Photoshop, Apple Products, and much more. 

Technology Training 

The Employee Technology Training Center provides training for software applications and other technological tools used by the University's faculty, administrators, staff & affiliates including quick start guides, tips and tricks, and group training.

Workplace Safety Training 

The Workplace Safety workshop is presented by Public Safety and designed to enable employees to learn about workplace violence prevention and their role in the event of a workplace violence incident. Available for departments or by division via appointment. Contact Human Resources at humanresources@loyola.edu or 410-617-2354 to request training.

Introduction to Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) 

Complete the MBTI assessment and receive feedback about your unique gifts, natural strengths, preferred style of perceiving information, decision-making, and more. Learn how to relate to others with differing gifts, strengths, and styles. This session is useful for team building or individual professional development.
