Student Employment
The Center for Community, Service, and Justice (CCSJ) and York Road Initiative (YRI) offers opportunities for Loyola undergraduate and graduate students to be part of the team in working to connect Loyola's campus to our local Baltimore community.
Undergraduate Student Interns
Rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors are encouraged to apply for an intern position with CCSJ to develop personal and professional skills while learning to connect Loyola with the York Road and greater Baltimore communities. Student interns provide support to Loyola's community partners as well as programmatic needs of CCSJ and receive professional development as part of the intern program.
Applications to serve as a student intern for the 2024-25 academic year will be open by the first week of the Spring 2024 semester. Please contact the Assistant Director for Student Leadership & Development if you have any questions or comments.
Undergraduate Work-Study Students
CCSJ offers undergraduate students who are eligible for Federal Work-Study opportunities to support the logistical and programmatic needs of CCSJ community engagement activities. Work-Study students can work from a minimum of 3 hours/week up to a maximum of 15 hours/week depending on the placement assignment.
Eligible candidates may apply for a work-study position on Loyola Handshake.
