"This program will allow students to learn about the wide range of Ph.D. options at the University of Florida and discover the groundbreaking cancer research happening at the UF Health Cancer Center.

It provides cancer research highlights by UF trainees, information on Ph.D. pathways, and a career panel. Attendees will be invited as special guests to the UF Health Cancer Center Annual Research Showcase on Feb. 12, featuring 150 faculty and trainee research posters"

College of Natural Resources at NC State University

An exciting Interdisciplinary PhD Assistantship is available in the College of Natural Resources at NC State University. Applicants should be interested in working across natural and social science aspects of sustainability, including the urban-rural gradient or terrestrial-aquatic linkages. The candidate will be part of a collaboration across the college, which includes the Departments of Forest Biomaterials; Parks, Recreation and Tourism; and Forestry and Environmental Resources. The position includes tuition, benefits, and a stipend of $25,000 for three years.

Northeastern University College of Science MS in Biotechnology Program

All students that graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Biochemistry, Biology-Chemistry Interdisciplinary, or Chemistry from Loyola University Maryland with at least a 3.2 GPA will be eligible for admission directly into the Northeastern University College of Science MS in Biotechnology Program. The $75 Application fee will be waived.

Students seeking admission must apply through Northeastern’s standard application system, providing an unofficial transcript at the time of application and an official transcript upon acceptance; however, a personal statement and letters of recommendation will NOT be required.

Students with a GPA less than 3.2 are encouraged to apply through the College of Science traditional application process, and the application fee will be waived. No other application requirements will be waived.

A minimum of two seats per entry term (fall or spring) will be reserved for Loyola students.
