We are excited to enter the development phase of the strategic planning process. As announced by President Sawyer at the President’s Town Hall on Jan. 30, the framework for our strategy development is as follows:

To execute our new vision and move Loyola University Maryland forward, we will need:
Areas of FocusWe will animate our resolve and commitment through targeted strategic initiatives in three areas of focus. Ideas put forward by the community and subsequent working groups must show how their proposals move the needle when it comes to DEIJ and Innovation, Growth, and Operational Excellence as well as the area of focus. In addition, proposals should consider how they may impact other areas of focus beyond the intended one.

President's Town Hall
Thank you to all who participated in the fall Strategic Planning Community Engagement efforts. At the President’s Town Hall on January 30th, President Sawyer, the Strategic Planning Steering Committee co-chairs, and SPSC member, Frank Golom provided an overview of the findings from our fall engagement efforts.

Spring Strategic Initiative Working Groups
Thank you to all who volunteered to serve on a working group! The working groups are composed of six strategic planning steering committee members (one of whom is the coordinator for the group) and 12 community members. The individuals below were selected based on their expertise and the likelihood of being involved in the implementation of initiatives once the plan is finalized. The community will still have an opportunity to weigh in on the plan this coming fall – so stay tuned for more information.
