The John Jordan Economics Scholarship

John M. Jordan, Associate Professor Emeritus of Economics, was a student at Loyola Collage (BS, 1961), and was the founding Chair of the Economics Department at Loyola University Maryland in 1969.  Professor Jordan taught economics at Loyola until he retired.

The John Jordan Economics Scholarship was created in honor of Professor Jordan in 2009 at the forty-year anniversary celebration of the Economics Department and is generously supported by our alumni.  Each year scholarships are awarded to the top students in Economics.

For more information about the John Jordan scholarship, students should contact their academic advisor or the Economics department chair.
