Loyola’s data science program ranked No. 5 nationally for affordability
Loyola University Maryland’s online Master of Science in data science program was ranked No. 5 nationally on Fortune’s list of the 10 “Most Affordable Online Master’s in Data Science Programs in 2022.”
“As demand for professionals who can manipulate and interpret big data continues to grow, we’re dedicated to providing a relevant, current, practical and accessible data science program, and that means one that’s conveniently online and affordable to students,” said Bahram Roughani, Ph.D., associate dean for the Natural and Applied Sciences. “We’re pleased to make Fortune’s list of affordable programs this year.”
Fortune compiled tuition amounts for the list using cost data provided by schools for the publication’s “Best Online Master’s in Data Science Programs in 2022,” where Loyola ranked No. 6 nationally.
Open to students with any undergraduate degree, Loyola’s online data science program offers two specializations that can be completed in 31 or 34 credits. All students complete the data science core courses, which include courses in statistics, business, and computer science. Students can also take three courses and earn a micro-credential in analytics or data science.
