SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

Happy holidays! The Loyola Writing Center will remain open for undergraduate tutoring in a limited capacity through Friday, December 13 to assist with any of your final paper needs. Graduate tutoring will remain open in a limited capacity through Tuesday, December 17 to assist with final papers. Due to our limited capacity, we encourage students to create appointments instead of walking in. If walking-in, expect a longer than normal wait time. Thank you for your continuous use of the writing center and have a good winter break. See you next semester!

The Loyola Writing Center is here to support undergraduates, graduates, and faculty. Our tutors will assist with class-based assignments, application essays, or personal writing. We have highly trained faculty, graduate, and undergraduate tutors standing by in-person and on WCOnline. We are here to help you at every stage of the writing process, from brainstorming initial ideas to polishing your final draft.

We Take Walk-ins Too

Come to the LWC with or without an appointment--our Desk Attendants or Tutors will help you register and make an appointment right there on the spot. 

Faculty – we offer valuable resources to support your students' writing development. Our services include classroom visits and individualized referrals.  Details regarding exciting workshops on different citations systems, creative writing approaches, and Generative AI will be forthcoming.
