What is Another Sankofa Moment?
The word "Sankofa" is a term used in the Twi language of Ghana meaning "to go back and retrieve," looking back in order to move forward. This is so we have a better perspective to further in our work at the Karson to find the crucial facts surrounding the current social and political climate around us, and ask the questions that will lead us to a bright future. We hope that you will take this time to celebrate how far the Karson has come in five years.
