Wilson Peace Symposium

Doctor Kaye with a group of students outside of the Andrew White Student Center

On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, The Karson Institute held its annual Wilson Peace Symposium. We invited 150 middle schoolers and their teachers to Loyola University Maryland’s campus to learn about civics 101. They started their day off at the LNDL, where they received an introduction and their Karson swag. Afterwards, they were led to McGuire Hall, where they listened to a panel facilitated by Dr. Kaye. The students were treated with lunch and sweets before they head back to their respective schools. For the Loyola students, the Karson gave out 150 cupcakes and discussed the roles that the Karson has on campus. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!
