Black History Month Celebration

On Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, the Karson held its Black History Month Celebration at the Loyola Notre Dame Library. Before the program started, attendees were able to paint in the creative space area of the first floor of the library. At 7, the program officially started. Chosen Generation, a choir from Loyola University Maryland, sang a couple of songs. After a poem reading, food was then served! Then the main event of a panel facilitated by Dr. Kaye started. The panelists answered questions about how they see the past, present, and future of the nation. At the end of the event, Dr. Kaye signed copies of her book, “my mother’s tomorrow” and the raffle prizes were drawn. Thank you to everyone that attended and made this celebration a success!
