About
Mission
Since 1989, Loyola University Maryland has selected a small number of men and women from the senior class who demonstrated excellence in academic, personal, and spiritual integration and a commitment to leadership and service to Loyola. In the spirit of Jesuit ideals, the Society serves as advisors to the University executives by identifying and communicating issues of significance. As engaged members of community, the Society empowers students across the University to live the magis.
Vision Statement
The Green and Grey Society members are selected through a competitive nomination process by University Executives and Administrators in recognition of their contributions to the Loyola Community. The selected members uphold a vision to foster a more unified campus through engaged leadership and service.
To accomplish this vision the Society holds three main objectives:
- To serve as liaisons on behalf of student body to University leadership including the President of the University, the Vice President and the Vice President for Student Development.
- To empower and support the work of other student organizations on campus
- To inspire a sense of community through particular Green and Grey sponsored programming and partnerships
