Website Accessibility
If your department manages a site within the University’s CMS, Omni, the office of
web development and design can generate an accessibility report for you. Eventually,
all departments will get a monthly, automated report.
Some easy ways to ensure your site is accessible include:
- Adding alt text for every image on your site
- Using heading styles appropriately
- Making all links descriptive
- Making all Word and PDF documents accessible, as you would a web page
