Reserve Officers’ Training Corp & The Study
At Loyola University Maryland, we understand that our Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) students face unique challenges with their additional responsibilities as Student-Athlete-Leaders. We recognize that our ROTC students dedicate more hours per week than others to academic and professional development.
Loyola University Maryland is committed to recruiting, educating, developing, and inspiring future Commissioned Officers of character for the United States Army and citizens of character with a lifetime of commitment and service to the nation.
As such, The Study offers specialized academic and organizational consultation and support to all Loyola ROTC students.
The Study’s mission is to help Student-Athlete-Leaders at Loyola thrive as successful, independent life-long learners. One of the conduits to meet the mission is through The Study’s Consulting Program, which aims to meet the following objectives for cadets:
- Celebrate each cadet’s academic strengths and abilities
- Provide individualized instruction and guidance as cadets develop their collegiate academic skills, organizational strategies, leadership, and personal accountability
Our ROTC Academic and Organizational Consultant is Ms. Kaia Schomburg. Please email Ms. Schomburg directly to make an appointment, or access The Study’s online scheduling platform, WC Online. (Please use your Loyola username and password; select “ROTC: Academic and Organizational Consulting Appointments” from the landing page to access the schedule).
Prospective students and guardians, we encourage you to reach out to Dr. Khadduri, Director of Learning Support, to inquire about the academic support services unique to Loyola ROTC students. She can be reached via email at jfkhadduri@loyola.edu.
