COVID Information
Respiratory Virus and Covid Guidance
Loyola University Maryland's COVID-19 and influenza vaccination policy and guidance for faculty, staff, and students is as follows:
- The COVID-19 primary vaccination and boosters are recommended but are no longer required.
- All members of the Loyola community are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines.
General Guidance
Stay home if you are sick (i.e., have a fever, persistent cough, etc.). If you have a fever, mask/isolate until you are fever-free without medication. Otherwise, mask and go to class. Members of the community no longer need to report COVID cases. Student Health Services will NOT send notifications through ODUGS to faculty/staff for undergraduate or graduate students. Students should communicate absence(s) due to illness directly to faculty; students can maintain their privacy and are not obligated to communicate specific details about their illnesses.
Resources
