Lisbon, Portugal

  • Dates:  January 1-10, 2026

  • Course: (Course Immersion in conjunction with a semester course) MG419/IB370 
  • Eligibilities: Open to all undergraduate students. If the number of applicants exceeds a maximum, priority will be given to students taking or who have taken the MG419/IB370 course
  • Cost: $3,250 (airfare not included)
  • Locations this trip visits: Sintra, Evora, Feedzai, Vodafone
  • Includes: Lodging, breakfast, some dinners, all transportation in Portugal for guided visits, guided tours, entrance to museums/sites, examples of excursions include: sunset cruise, day trip to Sintra and trip to Evora and a portugese cooking class.
  • Application due October 8, 2025. First deposit due October 15th, 2025

  • Dates:  Spring Break
  • Directors: Madison Leadley & Kim Sorlin
  • Eligibilities: Open to all  students. Will allow applications until minimum number of students is reached. No history of disciplinary concerns/code of conduct violations.
  • Cost: $3,400 (airfare included from BWI)
  • Activities this trip includes: Volcano hike, salsa classes, stand up paddle board, service learning opportunity, and a day trip to indigenous village.
  • Includes: Lodging in air conditioned bungalows(double or triple), breakfast & dinners, all transportation in Panama for guided visits, guided tours, activities and excursions. Loyola support staff on site during the entirety of the excursion.

In order to apply for semester and full year programs, students must attend a study abroad 101 session and at least one program specific information session before the application deadline. The application deadline for all Fall, Spring, and year-long opportunities during academic year 2026-2027 will be announced in the early fall semester.
