Studio Arts Degree Information
Students at Loyola may complete a major in visual arts with a concentration in studio arts, an interdisciplinary major, a major in visual arts with a concentration in interarts, a minor in studio arts, a minor in interarts, or take studio arts courses as electives.
Visual Arts Major, Studio Arts Concentration
Requirements for the major:
- AH 109 - Non-Western Art or AH 110 - Western Art: Paleolithic to Gothic or AH 111 - Western Art: Renaissance to Contemporary
- PT 270 - Basic Digital Photography
- SA 224 - Two-Dimensional Design or SA 227 - 3-D Design in Art and Engineering
- SA 225 - Drawing
- SA 350 - Visual Thinking
- SA 400 - Senior Capstone for Artists
- Four SA 300-level courses
- One PT 300-level course
- One AH 300-level or 400-level course
Visual Arts Major, InterArts Concentration
Requirements for the major:
