Biography
Professor Mary Beth Akre is an artist whose work ranges from plein air landscapes to portraits in social justice. Expressive landscape is her main area of interest and art heroes include Wolf Kahn, Helen Frankenthaler, and Jim Dine. Recent work was selected into national and regional exhibitions and can be found in numerous private, corporate, and public collections throughout the United States.
