Hearing conservation specific to self-induced (recreational) hearing loss; identification of hearing deficits in children with a special interest in children with multiple disabilities, including blindness, and autism spectrum disorders; auditory processing disorders in children; aural re/habilitation in children and adults

About Dr. Pitts
Donna joined the Department of Speech Language Hearing Sciences in 1997 as a Clinical Supervisor and received the Bene Merenti Medal in 2023 for 25 years of teaching service to the University. She is a Past President of the Maryland Academy of Audiology, served as Convention Chair for four years, and Secretary and At large Board Member. She also provides educational audiology services to deaf/blind students at Maryland School for the Blind. She enjoys spending time with her children, walking and hiking with her dogs.
