Loyola Student Nurses Association
In keeping with Loyola University Maryland’s Jesuit mission to inspire students to
learn, lead, and serve, the purpose of the Loyola Student Nurses Association is to
educate and mentor Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students as compassionate,
ethical, and skilled professionals. Rooted in the Ignatian value of cura personalis—care
for the whole person—we prepare nurses to practice with integrity, advocate for equitable
and evidence-based health care, and serve others with humility and respect. Guided
by the Jesuit ideals of justice, leadership, and service, we strive to form nurse
leaders who will advance the profession and promote the well-being of individuals
and communities for the greater good.
