Biography
Carol Quinn received her doctorate in Creative Writing and Literature from the University
of Houston. She also holds an MA from the University of Missouri, and a BA from the
University of Southern California. Her writing has appeared in Poetry Daily, Copper
Nickel, The American Literary Review, 32 Poems, The Cincinnati Review, Pleiades, River
Styx, Colorado Review, The Emily Dickinson Journal, and other publications. Her first
book of poems, Acetylene, won the Cider Press Review Book Award.
Carol and her husband also have a farm in Anne Arundel County, where they raise chickens,
goats, corn, tomatoes, boysenberries, pomegranates, and assorted other critters and
types of seasonal produce.
