Curriculum Overview
The Catholic Studies minor consists of 6 courses:
Two Required Courses
- TH 203*: Catholic Church: Life and Thought OR TH 220*: The Catholic Church in the
United States
*Also satisfies the 2nd core requirement in Theology - TH 399: Contemporary Catholic Intellectual Life (capstone course)
Four Elective Courses
To ensure the interdisciplinary nature of minor:
- Students may take no more than 2 electives from the same subject area.
- Theology majors normally take at least three of their Catholic Studies electives in disciplines other than Theology.
Choose from courses in a variety of subject areas including Art History, Chemistry, Classics, English, History, Latin, Management, Modern Languages, Philosophy, Theology.
