Loyola’s Sellinger School of Business adds four faculty members
Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management added four faculty members starting in the fall semester. They are:
- Robbie Bishop-Monroe was named an assistant professor of accounting. She has been an assistant professor
of accounting at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, as well as an adjunct
professor of accounting at Clark Atlanta University, Strayer University and Shorter
University, all in Atlanta, Georgia. She was an audit coordinator and senior accountant
for the Fulton County government in Georgia and associate vice president of student
financial services at Morehouse College, senior financial specialist for the Federal
Reserve Bank and managing partner for the accounting firm Bishop, Hampton and Associates
LLC. Bishop-Monroe is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Queens College, an MBA from Clark Atlanta University
and a Doctor of Business Administration from Creighton University’s Heider College
of Business.
- Stacy Chavez was named an assistant professor of accounting. Her academic experience includes teaching
managerial accounting at Texas Tech University. She was a senior accountant for Boeing
Co., international accounting manager for Trustwave Holdings Inc. and senior associate,
transactions and restructuring, for KPMG LLP. Chavez is a certified public accountant.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in international affairs from Florida State University,
a Master of Accounting Science from Northern Illinois University and a Doctor of Business
Administration with a concentration in accounting from Texas Tech University.
- Matthew E. Brach was named a lecturer in finance. He has served as a visiting professor at Villanova
University’s Villanova School of Business and a scholar fellow at The Catholic University
of America in Washington, D.C. Brach has worked for private equity and real estate
funds to include most recently 22Q Management Consultants LLC in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania,
and Argosy Capital in Wayne, Pennsylvania, as well as several accounting firms. Brach
is a certified public accountant. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Villanova University,
an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and a
Doctor of Business Administration from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
- Pratima Kshetry was named a lecturer in information systems, law and operations. Kshetry is a software engineer at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and an adjunct lecturer at the University of Maryland iSchool. She previously held positions as a quantitative data analyst for the American Foundation for AIDS Research and as a clinical SAS programmer for Impact Data Solutions. Additionally, she worked as a software developer in Nepal. Kshetry earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Apex College in Kathmandu, Nepal, and a Master of Science in information science from the University of Maryland in College Park.
