Loyola University Maryland partners with Goucher College to create 4+1 MBA option
Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management partnered
with Goucher College to establish a 4+1 program for Goucher students, who can now
apply for fast-track admission to Loyola’s one-year, full-time Emerging Leaders MBA program. The new option allows
students meeting certain GPA requirements to earn two degrees in five years and provides
a 15% discount off graduate tuition and a streamlined admission process for eligible
students.
“Loyola’s Emerging Leaders MBA program provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate
students in our region and nationally,” said Kathleen Getz, Ph.D., dean of Loyola’s
Sellinger School of Business. “Partnerships like this one create pathways for the
most academically talented students to extend their educational experience through
a challenging, experiential, and accelerated advanced business degree.”
The Emerging Leaders MBA program emphasizes real-world experiences, including corporate
visits, mentoring and internships, as well as domestic and international field study
tours exploring emerging markets and new business climates and cultures. The program
ranked among MBA Central’s Top 50 Fastest Accelerated MBA Degree Programs.
“Expanding Goucher’s 4+1 programs with other respected national institutions provides
our students the valuable opportunity to experience the rigorous liberal arts undergraduate
experience for which Goucher is known and complement that with a range of well-regarded
advanced degree opportunities,” said Elaine Meyer-Lee, provost and senior vice president
of academic affairs at Goucher College.
Loyola also offers fast-track admission to the Emerging Leaders MBA program for students
at Gettysburg College, Stevenson University, Stonehill College and Washington College.
In addition, Loyola’s full-time, 10-month Master of Accounting program offers fast-track
admission for students at Notre Dame of Maryland University, Stevenson University,
Stonehill College, and Washington College.
