Nearly 99% of Loyola’s Class of 2024 is employed or continuing education

Loyola University Maryland’s Class of 2024 First Destination Survey reported that nearly 99% of graduates who responded to the survey were employed, continuing education, or engaged in postgraduate service or military service.
Loyola’s First Destination Survey tracks the postgraduate plans of Loyola graduates within six months of graduation.
“A Loyola education is a strong indicator of future success, a trend which is emphasized by another year of promising First Destination Survey results,” said Christina J. Spearman, Ed.D., assistant vice president for career development. “Our students acquire not only the skills they need to serve a diverse and changing world, but also the compassion, confidence, and discernment that are the hallmark of a Jesuit, liberal arts education.”
Key data from the Class of 2024 First Destination Survey show:
- 98.7% of Loyola graduates were employed, continuing education, or engaged in post-graduate service or military service
- 30.3% of graduating seniors continued education
- 77.7% knowledge rate of graduates
“These impressive results are a testament to the tremendous work of our faculty and staff, who are committed to supporting, mentoring, and empowering our students,” said Cheryl Moore-Thomas, Ph.D., provost and senior vice president for academic affairs. “The investments that we continue to make as a university ensure that our students are able to succeed at Loyola and after Loyola.”
Loyola uses National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) methodology, the national standard, for collecting and reporting results.
