Meet the Noyce Scholars

Meet the newest group of Noyce Scholars. The Noyce program supports tuition, books, fees, and licensure exams for MAT students and provides a supplemental stipend each semester. Meet Melissa Cruz Noriega, Noyce Scholar. Melissa is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Secondary Education with a focus on Biology and is set to graduate in 2025. "This opportunity covers your entire tuition and it has a goal of creating a network and community in which adult learners can support and mentor one another."

Ada Marcovitz Noyce Scholar
Meet Ada Marcovitz, Noyce Scholar. Ada is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in secondary math education and is set to graduate in May 2025. Ada is looking forward to "Learning how to celebrate the cultures of all of my students and myself is what creates a safe classroom where students can maximize learning. This means recognizing cultural differences and learning how to appropriately incorporate them into the classroom."
