Arboretum
An arboretum is a botanical collection of trees and woody shrubs, grown together for preservation, study and display. In 2013, the Evergreen Campus was designated an accredited arboretum by the Morton Register of Arboreta for the University’s dedication to nurturing and preserving dozens of tree species.
The Arboretum Committee maintains a comprehensive tree care plan and develops new ways for our community to interact with, and learn from the trees of Loyola.
