Activities
Founder and Director of Formation Support for Vietnam—Non-profit organization: I have
                        raised more than five million dollars for scholarships to assist more than 200 Vietnamese
                        religious and priests who have studied at many Catholic colleges and seminaries. 
                        I play a role of Coordinator, Consultant and Representative for the Vietnamese Catholic
                        Bishops and Major Superiors in Vietnam. 2006-Present
                        
                        Director of Annual National Conference for Vietnamese priests, religious, and seminarians:
                        The yearly event taken place in California, Texas, Louisiana, or Florida, gathered
                        more than 200 religious participants, and provided workshops about spiritual, cultural,
                        legal, and academic topics. 
                        
                        Director of Annual Fundraising Gala: responsible for marketing, hosting center, and
                        concert programs. 2007-2017
                        
                        Coordinator and event manager—for four 30-day silent retreats, Spiritual Exercises,
                        for religious and priests in Houston and Boston, 2011-2017
                        
                        Retreat Directors: 8-day retreat for 30 college students 2004 and weekend retreats
                        for Catechists and Young Adults in Seattle, Boston, West Palm Beach, Winnipeg, Portland,
                        Albany, and Winter Haven 
                        
                        Chaplain for immersion trip and pilgrimages: led U.S. students to Nicaragua for building
                        houses for the poor and provided spiritual direction to pilgrims in Vietnam, Myanmar,
                        Thailand, Portugal, Spain, and Italy. 2011-2018
                         
                        Chaplain and mentor for Christian Life Communities at Loyola University Chicago. Computer
                        Tutor for immigrants at Cristo Rey High School in Chicago. Chaplain and Bible Teacher
                        at a Federal Prison in Chicago and Boston. Teacher of Catholic Catechism for Confirmation
                        classes and Young Adults. Spiritual Director for college students and Eucharistic
                        Youth Society. Giving many preaching and directed retreats. Volunteer in the soup
                        kitchen in Tijuana for 4 months. Chaplain in Hospital and Hospice in Mc Allen, Texas.
                        President of the Eucharistic Youth Society in the Southern Region.

Research Interest
I am interested in international education, administration and supervision, non-profit
                        educational institutes, ecclesiastical theological foundations, student affairs, campus
                        ministry, Catholic tradition, global curriculum, especially Ignatian pedagogy in higher
                        education, and educational development in international communities.  I am also interested
                        in educational system in developing countries and cross-cultural issues.
