LGBTQ+ Student Services began in July 2024 as an outcome of Loyola's Strategic Plan for 2030, Together We Rise, following decades of student and employee advocacy. Previous to the formation of LGBTQ+ Student Services, care and support for LGBTQ+ students was provided by numerous dedicated University employees, many of whom identified as part of the LGBTQ+ community. Today, LGBTQ+ Student Services is proud to provide holistic support services and programming to the Loyola campus community.
