Campus Worship Spaces
The Loyola Campus offers a variety of worship spaces for services and events.
Alumni Memorial Chapel
The Alumni Memorial Chapel, built in the Gothic revival style and designed by architects Gaudreau & Gaudreau, was dedicated in 1952 to the Loyola Alumni who lost their lives in World Wars I and II.
Directions from the Quad:
The Chapel (campus map #16) is located on the west side of the academic quad, just before the pedestrian bridge that crosses over North Charles Street.
Directions from off campus:
When using I-695 (Baltimore Beltway), take Exit 25 (Charles Street) South to the intersection with Cold Spring Lane. Visitor Parking (free on weekends and ticketed weekdays) is available at the Jenkins Parking lot off of Coldspring Lane on Bunn Drive. Street Parking is available on Cold Spring Lane and Charles Street (restricted hours).
Interfaith Prayer Space in Cohn Hall
Campus Ministry's interfaith space is an intentional room devoted to reflection, prayer, and/or meditation for those at Loyola University who do not identify as Catholic or are looking for a different space to pray. Weekly Jummah prayers for our Muslim community are offered every Friday.

Cohn Hall (campus map #15) is located on the west side of the academic quad, just before the pedestrian bridge that crosses over North Charles Street.
Fava Chapel
Fava Chapel was donated as the Hammerman Hall chapel by the Fava family and renovated recently to be a multi-use interfaith space that is used for reflection, Sunday Masses and Zen Buddhist meditation.
Directions from the Quad:
Heading east from the main academic quad, Hammerman Hall (campus map #31) will be the first residence hall on the right before the Loyola/Notre Dame Library. You may enter from the main lobby to the left of the reception desk or from the external door to the left of the main entrance.
Jesuit Residence Chapel
The Jesuit Residence Chapel is the community worship space for the Loyola University Jesuit community, located in the back of the Ignatius House Jesuit Residence. Ignatius House is on Millbrook Road, just off of Cold Spring Lane, across from the bookstore and Diane Geppi-Aikens Field.
Directions from the Quad:
Heading east from the main academic quad on the main walkway, pass the Andrew White Student Center and Diane Geppi-Aikens Field, and cross Millbrook Road. Ignatius House (campus map #30) is directly ahead. Follow the path along the right side of the building to the Chapel entrance at the end of the path.
