Maryland Sea Grant Undergraduate Fellowships in Estuarine Science

• Amount: $7,200
• Deadline: February 13, 2024

Description: The Research Experience for Undergraduates fellowship program is supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation to the University of Maryland Sea Grant College. Its goal is to encourage students to develop independence and confidence in a research-oriented atmosphere, and to continue their education in estuarine and ocean science. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and have completed at least two years of study towards (but not yet completed) a bachelor’s degree. Preference is given to students who are rising seniors. Students from underrepresented groups and institutions with limited research opportunities are especially encouraged to apply. LA Tutors Scholarship

• Amount: $500
• Deadline: 20th of every month

Description: LA Tutors awards students who showcase their creativity and make positive impacts with a $500 Innovation in Education scholarship. On an ongoing monthly basis, this scholarship is open to all currently enrolled high school, college, and graduate students who showcase their creativity while helping those around them (whether that be in a creative fundraiser, an inventive new app, series of blog posts on a particular theme, or another idea). The application deadline is 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month.

RMEL Scholarships

• Amount: $3,000
• Deadline: February 9, 2024

Description: The purpose of the RMEL Foundation is to award scholarships to deserving and qualified students in engineering, business, information systems, plant, line or distribution technology, line worker or other curriculum related to the electric energy industry. Eligible applicants must be a current high school senior, high school graduate or current university/college undergraduate (freshman, sophomore, junior or senior) student. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

The DGV Scholarship Program

• Amount: $5,000
• Deadline: February 16, 2024

Description: At DGV, we believe that we play a small part in bettering society by aligning with U.S. institutions directly serving the common good. But after the events of 2020, we realized we needed to do more. A global pandemic and local social unrest have brought to the forefront inequities related to education levels, food security, job opportunities, and lifespans determined simply by the zip code someone was born in. We have committed ourselves to create positive change by expanding our mission to include a greater focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

In order to create that change, DGV has established the DGV Scholarship Program aimed at reducing inequality and increasing cultural, racial, and gender diversity within the financial services sector through academic scholarships for women and black, indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) pursuing degrees in S.T.E.M., business or finance and considering careers in finance and investing. In order to be considered for a scholarship, individuals must be an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited four-year college or a university, or be a high school senior accepted for such enrollment; Must be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a degree in S.T.E.M., finance or business; Must be part of an underrepresented demographic in the financial services sector (Women, BIPOC); Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident (holder of a Permanent Resident Card), or an individual granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA); Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) and be able to demonstrate financial need; Must maintain contact with DGV at pre-determined times during the year to provide updates on student experience and receive mentorship from DGV Solutions; and must show promise or potential in becoming a member of the broader finance community.

UMSA Foundation Scholarship

• Amount: $3,000
• Deadline: February 28, 2024

Description: UMSA Foundation launched its scholarship program in support of their continued efforts in interdisciplinary collaboration and education. This program offers scholarships for undergraduate or graduate programs in the fields of business continuity and disaster recovery, cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance, and physical security. TLF Scholarship Program

• Amount: $2,000
• Deadline: February 29, 2024

Description: The LAGRANT Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the number of ethnic minorities in the fields of advertising, marketing and public relations. Sixty (60) undergraduate scholarship recipients will receive a trip to either New York City, Portland, OR, or Minneapolis, MN where they will participate in career building activities, including a welcome dinner with a keynote speaker, three to four daylong career development & professional workshops and a scholarship & donor recognition reception.

Undergraduate (current freshmen, sophomores, juniors and non-graduating seniors ONLY!) applicants meeting eligibility criteria and completing the online application will be considered for The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) scholarship in the amount of $2,000.

(ISC)^2 Women in Information Security Scholarship

• Amount: $5,000
• Deadline: February 29, 2024

Description: The (ISC)² Women's Scholarship, administered by the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, offers students scholarships from $1,000 to $6,000 per recipient. Applicants must be female and pursuing or planning to pursue a degree with a focus on cybersecurity, information assurance or related field, and be a high school senior, undergraduate or graduate student. A minimum 3.3 GPA is required.

RSM First Generation Scholarship

• Amount: $30,000
• Deadline: February 28, 2024

Description: The RSM US Foundation will again award five students with up to $30,000 each in scholarships, paid $10,000 annually over three consecutive academic years and an invitation to an RSM information session.The program is open to legal residents of the 50 states and Washington, D.C., who are at least 18 years old, full-time students with a 3.0 GPA or above at an accredited college or university, and studying business or technology in a bachelor's degree program. Applicants must be a first, second, or third-year student with no immediate family members from previous generations that have received a bachelor's degree. An applicant is still considered a first generation student even if their immediate siblings have or are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree.

RSM Power Your Education Scholarship

• Amount: $10,000
• Deadline: February 28, 2024

Description: The RSM US Foundation awards 10 business and technology students annually with a $10,000 scholarship each and an invitation to an RSM information session. Qualified applicants are legal residents of the 50 states and Washington, D.C., who are at least 18 years old, full-time students with a 3.0 GPA or above at an accredited college or university, and two or three years from final graduation with a bachelor's degree in business or technology.
