Outcomes

Ultimately, all outcomes from this initiative should help Loyola attain its four goals of:

  • Advancing Institutional Positioning
  • Increasing Resource Efficiency
  • Growing Operational Maturity
  • Strengthening Financial Resiliency

Year One - Outcomes

After extensive consultation, research, and engagement, Huron provided 40+ recommendations for the working group and Cabinet to review. Both groups provided their feedback, and the vice presidents evaluated the list using three criteria:

  • financial impact,
  • implementation complexity, and
  • strategic alignment.

After reviewing Huron’s recommendations, the vice presidents, along with President Sawyer, combined some of the recommendations and removed others from the list.

The final report details the 20 recommendations identified as most promising. For each recommendation, we have identified where senior leaders have made decisions and where additional research is required before decisions can be made. In some cases, the recommendations are straightforward and immediately implementable. In a few cases, however, the recommendations are complex and will require extensive research and internal consultations before a final decision can be made.
