Program Options

Loyola’s Educational Leadership program is a unique blend of theory and practical application, designed for educators passionate about leading and facilitating improvements in school systems, student achievement, and teacher performance. Successful completion of our program options provides licensure eligibility for Supervisor of Instruction, Assistant Principal, and Principal (formerly Administration I and Administration II) in Maryland. Loyola’s program is ideal for experienced teachers committed to making a broader impact through a social justice lens. A degree or certificate in Educational Leadership will prepare individuals to address 21st-century challenges. It will also prepare you to design and implement innovative solutions to support school communities, staff, and the success of all students, including those traditionally underserved.

M.Ed. in Educational Leadership
This 39-credit, online synchronous program is designed for teachers and licensed school professionals who aspire to become leaders at the school or district level. Tailored for working educators, the program provides licensure eligibility for Supervisor of Instruction, Assistant Principal, and Principal (formerly Administration I and Administration II) in Maryland.

Post-Master's Certificate in Administration and Supervision - Flexible Pathway
This 21-credit program offers a flexible pathway to licensure eligibility for Supervisor of Instruction, Assistant Principal, and Principal (formerly Administration I and Administration II) in Maryland. Designed for working educators with a master’s degree, the program features fully online synchronous coursework and an in-person internship.

Designed for exceptionally qualified teachers and licensed school professionals with a master’s degree, this 21-credit program offers an accelerated pathway to licensure eligibility for Supervisor of Instruction, Assistant Principal, and Principal (formerly Administration I and Administration II) in Maryland. With a cohort-based model and a focus on real-world leadership development, the program prepares educators for impactful roles at the school and district levels.
